THE NWS IN BIRMINGHAM WILL BE CONDUCTING DAMAGE SURVEYS TODAY...
AS A RESULT OF YESTERDAY'S ROUND OF STORMS, THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE IN BIRMINGAM WILL BE SENDING TWO TEAMS OF METEOROLOGISTS
INTO THE FIELD TO CONDUCT STORM DAMAGE SURVEYS. ONE TEAM WILL BE
SURVEYING DAMAGE AROUND SAMANTHA IN TUSCALOOSA COUNTY AND THE OTHER
TEAM WILL BE SURVEYING DAMAGE IN MARION, WINSTON AND LAMAR COUNTIES.
FURTHER PUBLIC INFORMATION STATEMENTS WILL BE RELEASED AS
INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE THIS AFTERNOON.
