"Cool" and "dry" are the only words needed to describe the weather in North Alabama for the next several days. Highs will be in the low 70's and lows will be around 40. The next change will come when the coldest air of the season pushes in here late Tuesday of next week, as advertised by the GFS model. By Wednesday we will struggle to hit 60 for a high and next Thursday morning's low may be near freezing. Stay tuned for specifics. Unfortunately no precipitation is expected with this front.
The next chance of rain might not be until Sunday the 11th.
Don't hold your breath but the GFS is showing a strong front passing through North Alabama on Wednesday the 14th with some residual moisture bringing a chance of snow flurries.
Midday Nowcast: Clearing Sky, Breezy & Cool Wednesday - The cold front has pushed through and out of the state and has brought a down-right chilly air mass to Alabama today. The clouds are giving way to sunshine...

Okay. I won't hold my breath. The 14th is too far off!
Also, check out the Providence Ministries post on my AICLB blog. They are a cool missions org and also mention some weather conditions in Haiti.
Smart move...about your breath, that is. I will check it out.
