Tonight at 8:oo Noel was upgraded to a 75 mph hurricane. It was up to 80 mph on the 11 p.m. advisory. Little change in strength is forecast over the next 24 hours. After that it will evolve into a powerful extratropical low. The good news is that it is forecast to miss the United States and remain over the Atlantic.
