On October 31st I mentioned that the coldest air of the season would settle in here tomorrow morning. It still appears that many areas of North and Central Alabama will experience their first freeze of the season tomorrow morning.
As I write, the temperature is already down to 39.9 here in Cullman County and our dewpoint is 23. I fully expect many areas, including my location, will wake up to a hard freeze with lows in the upper 20's. Breezy conditions and the resulting mixing may prevent temperatures from going as low as the dewpoint would otherwise suggest. Thursday morning's temperatures might be slightly cooler with lighter winds with the high expected to be over our general area.
