My son Joseph took this picture yesterday afternoon on his cell phone near West Point in Cullman County. It lasted 3 and one half days. Not bad for such a modest accumulation in North Alabama. This may be the last snow seen in North Alabama for a very long time.

Wow. Ours was all gone by noon on Sunday.
I know you thought they did a great job but I personally thought the NWS was rather off-base on Sunday. They were calling for 1-2 inches in the morning and another 1-2 inches later that day. We saw maybe a half inch. There was no second pass. The sun came out mid morning and never went away. Everything melted quickly.
